Terms of Service
Effective date: November 08, 2026
These terms govern your use of Duck (duck.study and the Duck iOS app), operated by Andrei Samsonov PR Novi Sad.
The service
Duck helps you learn the English you need for the TV shows and movies you watch: pick a title, and Duck builds flashcards at your level that help you understand it, schedules your reviews, and gives you an AI tutor to chat with.
Explanations, examples, and cards are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every show or episode is available.
Your account and content
You are responsible for your account. You keep your rights in the text and cards you create; you give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you.
Do not use Duck for unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive activity, or to overload the AI tutor by automated means. We may suspend access for misuse or to protect the service.
Free and Pro
The Free plan is free forever and includes cards, reviews, and ready-made cards from free episodes, with a one-time balance of AI to start. An invitation may add to that balance.
Duck Pro is an optional subscription, billed monthly or yearly. It includes the AI tutor with a much higher monthly limit, subject to fair use, and ready-made cards for any episode. Current prices are shown on our pricing section, at checkout, and in the app.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (creem.io). Creem is the Merchant of Record for all our web orders: Creem bills subscriptions started on the web and handles payment, tax, receipts, and customer service inquiries about those payments. Apple bills subscriptions started in the iOS app and handles their payment, tax, and receipts.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time — on the web from Settings → Plan → Manage subscription, and for the iOS app in your iPhone's subscription settings. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Copyright
Duck does not host, stream, or sell films or TV episodes; learners watch on their own services. Show and movie titles, posters, and other images belong to their owners. Posters come from TheTVDB. Metadata provided by TheTVDB.
Rights holders can send a notice as our Copyright Policy describes, and we will remove the material.
Changes
We may update the service, its plans, and these terms. We will publish the updated terms here and, where required, notify you of material changes. A price change applies to a subscription only from its next billing period after notice.
