What we store

Your account (email address), your learning data (cards, reviews, study progress), and your conversations with the AI tutor. We store this data to run the app for you — nothing else.

What we share

Payments are handled by Creem (on the web) and Apple (on iOS) — we never see your card details. Resend delivers the sign-in codes we email you. We do not sell your data and we show no ads.

AI services

Duck uses third-party AI services to make your cards, explain words, generate pronunciation, and answer you in the chat. They receive the words you study and the messages you send to the tutor, with the context needed to answer. They do not receive your email address or payment details.

• Google (Gemini): cards, explanations, and chat answers
• OpenAI: word matching and pronunciation audio
• Anthropic (Claude): dictionary articles and card wording
• TypeSafe: choosing how the chat answers a message

Your data is yours

You can export your cards and learning data at any time. If you delete your account, we delete your data.
